The task was to create a short book with the theme of β€œTaste”. My interpretation of taste was rooted in individuality and artistic expression through personal taste. To further explore this idea, I interviewed several young artists living in NYC in their bedrooms to discuss their perspective on their personal taste and how it has impacted their lives. Inspired by Adrienne Salinger’s β€œIn My Room” photo series, I captured raw and unfiltered looks into each artist’s personalised, private spaces. Each photograph, object, and arrangement tells a story- a narrative woven into the rich tapestry of the human experience, beckoning readers to unravel the enigma of taste and identity.
